To minimise the overhead and substantially reduce turn around time of generating field service orders on the annual maintenance of neon signs across the province of Ontario Canada, Pattison Sign Group the largest sign company in Canada and one of the largest sign companies in North America, providing comprehensive signage solutions and visual communication services engaged the service of Third Eye Solutions to implement a solution that embraced new technology to interface with their corporate proprietary system.
Third Eye leveraged its in-depth expertise in designed, implemented and launched an Enterprise Transformation Logic (ETL) solution based on Sun Microsystems JAVA, XML and JasPer to automate the generation of the field services orders and its associated job details. The solutions reduced the turn-around time of the entire process from an annual 4 weeks process to less than 4 hours with a significant reduction in both manual processes and cost.
